Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Mastery: Take charge of the safe operation of autoclaves, mechanical washers, and advanced sterilization equipment.
  • Sanitization Excellence: Maintain the highest facility standards by cleaning and disinfecting cages, water bottles, and research areas daily.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Ensure peak performance by conducting daily preventative maintenance and executing minor equipment repairs.
  • Quality Control: Uphold rigorous standards by monitoring logbooks and collecting biological indicators to verify sanitization efficacy.
  • Inventory Coordination: Manage and stock essential supplies, including feed and bedding, to keep our research operations running smoothly.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Six (6) months of experience in research animal care, cage wash, production/maintenance, or animal husbandry.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and thrive in an active, movement-heavy environment.
